SOME THINGS DON'T CHANGE
Sorry for the lack of posting but work's been busy.
So an SU alum co-worker brings me a copy of the D.O. he picked up while at the 'Cuse a few weeks ago. Inside, Maggies advertises $3 for pitchers. It's good to know that beer is still ridiculously cheap in college. And it should be.
Coincidentally, on the same page is a headline that reads "LBJ Spoke at SU." Unfortunately it was about Lyndon Baines Johnson, not John Welsh.

Hey, let's organize a trip to see Romer, Skin and other Albany bros.
Golf, waxing, and beer; it doesn't get any better than that.

Way off, sap. Don't mess with my Big Bro, I'll do a flying wax as you leave your office building this evening. Anyway, I called him the day before a gig while in Stereosoul in Kean college, NH (long story) and told him I'm stopping by on my way home. I showed up, his wife gave me the look of death and we went out for food and drinks for like 4 hours while in the middle of moving in. Timing couldn't have been better.
