According to today's St. Paul Pioneer Press, Vikings fan Andy Saur has created a petition to change the team’s “kickoff” song from Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome To The Jungle” to Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song,” which is about Vikings coming out of “the land of the ice and snow, from the midnight sun where the hot springs blow.”

In honor of this story, I offer you this picture of Fran, Vikings mascot Ragnar, and Fran's wife Tina . I believe this was taken in Minneapolis just prior to the 1998 NFC title game in Minnesota when the 15-1 Vikes lost to the 14-2 Falcons on a last-second Morten Andersen field goal.
