OH, THE HORROR

Stain posts the following in response to "sweet" Sap's comment about P-Head's demerits to Spooge:

"So, I am moving into the house junior year with the help of my Dad. Of course, there is always some apprehension about bringing your parents by the house for the first time just due to the general state of ill repair.

Anyway, it looks like I am the first guy back.

So, I give my Dad a quick tour of the house before we get to my room - which was going to be the front room of Club Paulie P. Schlomoe and Chimp were my other two roomates - Oh, the horror.

The house had not be cleaned since the last graduation party from months before. There was literally food still left out on a table, half-drank cups of beer, etc, etc. Now that my Dad is stunned that he is actually going to pay decent money for me to live there, I take him to my room.

The door was closed, blinds were drawn and it was all dark in there

(Black painted walls accentuating the experience).

As we walk in, I realize that Pumpkin Head and his brother were sleeping together on a pull-out couch.

Needless to say, that wasn't exactly the way I wanted my father to meet my Crow Brothers."
