SUPER BOWL WRAP UP

It's been a while since the big game but I've been busy. So here's how my final two days at Super Bowl went.

Saturday night I go to the coveted NFL Sponsorship party. It was in downtown Miami at an outdoor amphitheater. Pretty cool. Good bars, weak food. Three bands played -- New Edition, REO Speedwagon and Blondie.

NE and REO were actually damn good. They are good examples of old bands than can still jam. Blondie, which headlined (if you can call it that), was by far the weakest. She could not hit the high notes, they played mello tunes and she looked like a 50-year old woman who could have been at the super market. The Tide is Low Blondie.

Next day, it's raining. First time all week. We head to the NFL Tailgate party which is good despite the rain because it's mostly covered. Chris Isaak and Stevie Nicks play. Now it makes sense why I saw Isaak at the Media Center. Isaak is better. Nicks wasn't as bad as Blondie but it's along the same lines.

Regardless, no one really watches bands play at Tailgate anyway. You take endless laps around the huge bash hoping to crash into people you know and like. On the celebrity front, Justin Timberlake was there simply among the partyers. I was surprised that there was no security around him.

More importantly, we also saw S.I. swimsuit model Marissa Miller. My wife spotted her of all things. She was wearing jeans and a grey hoodie that was pulled up over her head. She still looked hot. Pretty girl. It's too bad the outfit didn't show off the bod that pays for her meals. Click on the link for the full effect.

That's about it from the Super Bowl. Bennie and I tried to meet up but it didn't happen. The rain killed our best chance which was to meet during the game. My wife and I had seats in the second row of the upper deck at the 35-yard line. Normally, good seats. But not when it rains for three hours straight. Probably the wettest I've been since Diligence Night (Are you prepared to be branded?!?).
