SATURDAY UPDATE
Saw Fran's boy K-Fed yesterday. Total tool and not worthy of 1% of the coverage the guy receives.
The ESPN party was not in a ballroom, a building or restaurant. It took up an entire neighborhood. It was huge. There were X-gamers doing stunt tricks and NASCAR cars and Madden Playstation3 games on high-def screens (I defeated the Commissioner's son Ben Baker).
However, it was short on celebs and the gossip that this blog warrants. Only saw some ESPN broadcasters and Derrick Blooks playing a kid in Madden.
Prior to that party, I went with my wife to an NFL sponsorship cocktail party. This was a small (300 people) classy affair at a marina. What's so funny though is that the NFL paid some current and former players to be there -- Dickerson, Marcus Allen, Romo, Brady Quinn, Hasselback. It probably cost the NFL between $10-20K for each of those guys and they're just sitting around talking to each other. Must be nice.
I am hopeful to connect with the Balls of Benwa today as he arrives in Miami for the game.
More important than all of this, this morning I saw the first ESPN promo for the AFL today. It was brief but signals a new era for the League.
PS--Saw Chris Isaack the other day in the media center too. Forgot to mention that.

Jared was very non-descript and I'd prefer not to waste our time talking about him again. He especially shouldn't be mentioned in the same post with the Prince twins.
